Watch: Cold's Blue Room with BTS' RM

Now that the album Love Part 2, is out and all the hype has come down, Colde has announced a sort of revival through Colde’s Blue Room series, where artists would come and talk about the songs on the album and the contribution they made to give the music the vibe it has. For this first episode, a very special guest, BTS’ Namjoon, also known as RM, was invited to speak about their song, titled Don’t Ever Say Love Me. Apart from this being a brilliant opportunity for the artists to catch up, it was also a brilliant way to explain the thought and emotion behind this song.

We see the two of them sitting together, starting their chat with incredibly respectful greetings and calm demeanors. Staying true to the theme of the album and their music video, the visual effect of this interview is so deep-rooted in it that they seem like they are here to shoot the music video only. Their navy blue clothing and clean-cut makeup add to the aesthetic as well. They start by talking about how they collaborated because they were both available at the same time, and their career trajectories lined up perfectly for this to happen.

After this, they move on to talk about why the subject of love is such an important and prevalent topic in songwriting. Namjoon explained that it is strange that we’re programmed to love all the time, but it is what sustains us. We need love to survive. Speaking of the title, he says that even though the idea is not to say ‘love you,’ it is the biggest underlying theme in the song. It is what makes the song as beautiful as it is.

Fans are incredibly happy to see this video showing Namjoon talking about music and the personification of love. Meanwhile, others are sharing how the artist looks incredibly cute while talking about love. Some have also shared their favorite parts from this interview, clipping it in so that others can take a look. By the end of the video, RM also shared some suggestions listeners can add to their playlist, which is something fans would be excited to pick up.

Love Part 2 and Don’t Ever Say Love Me are both currently streaming on Spotify and other music platforms. Check out the interview below:
