The BIGHIT MUSIC love carried over to the United States last night!
On September 13 local time, BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk took to Instagram Stories to reveal that he had gone out to dinner with BTS’s Jungkook and TXT after the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) the previous night.
Although Jungkook did not attend the VMAs—where TXT premiered their upcoming pre-release single “Back for More” featuring Brazilian superstar Anitta—both Jungkook and TXT won awards at the ceremony. Jungkook won Song of Summer for his hit single “Seven” (featuring Latto), while TXT took home the award for Push Performance of the Year for “Sugar Rush Ride.”
Bang Si Hyuk posted two brief videos of himself with Jungkook and the TXT members at their celebratory dinner. On the first, he wrote, “They tore up the stage tonight LOL.”
Meanwhile, the second featured Yeonjun—who rang in his birthday on September 13—blowing out the candles on his cake. Bang Si Hyuk wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday, Yeonjun~~.”
Additionally, Bang Si Hyuk got fans guessing with a third video of himself throwing up hand signs with Jungkook.
He cryptically wrote in the caption, “There’s a spoiler! A big one~,” leading to speculation about what those hand signs could mean—and what Jungkook might have planned.
Once again, congratulations to both Jungkook and TXT, and happy birthday, Yeonjun!
