V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has won the "Trend of the Year - K-pop Solo" award at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA), held on November 17. Hosted by Ilgan Sports, the KGMA debuted this year to honor excellence in the Korean music industry, spotlighting both established and emerging talents.
Taehyung, currently on hiatus due to military service, is the only BTS member to secure a win at this year’s KGMA. The award adds to his growing list of achievements in 2024, including recognition from the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and others.
