In an exciting moment for fans, V, the beloved member of BTS, was seen attending IU's final solo concert of her HEREH World Tour on September 22, 2024, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Despite currently serving in the military, V made a special appearance to show his support for the iconic singer.

As videos and photos surfaced online, fans noted V's casual outfit, complete with a hoodie and track pants, along with his freshly buzzed haircut—an emblem of his active-duty status in the South Korean military's Special Task Force at the 2nd Army Corps headquarters in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.

IU's HEREH World Tour kicked off on March 2, 2024, in Seoul, promoting her sixth mini album, The Winning, which was released on February 20. The tour spanned multiple countries, including the USA, Japan, China, Europe, and England, making it a significant event in the K-pop calendar.

V, whose full name is Kim Taehyung, has made a mark as both a singer and actor. Before his enlistment, he released three solo tracks—"Stigma," "Singularity," and "Inner Child"—and made his acting debut in the historical drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. His official solo debut came with the studio album Layover on September 8, 2023, featuring the romantic track "Slow Dancing," followed by the single "FRI(END)S" on March 15, 2024, which captivated fans with its innovative music video.
