Kim Taehyung’s fans got a pleasant surprise recently. The vocalist from BTS, who is currently serving in the military, shared some new photos of himself on Instagram and revealed that he is on a break and currently weighs 75 kilograms.

Dropping the photos on his Instagram handle, the ‘Slow Dancing’ hitmaker wrote, “Army, how are you all? I work out regularly and wear cool clothes. The training has been going great. I came out for a short break and spoke to my friends about you. I weigh 75 kg now, thanks to a hard workout. My troopers are feeling great. I have to work harder and I will. Bye!"

One picture saw the ‘Singularity’ singer holding a four-leaf clover. In another picture, the singer is seen wearing a figure-hugging black t-shirt, standing at the gym. The next photo showed Taehyung squatting, showing off his newly buff figure in a rust-coloured T-shirt and denim. The last picture, another selfie features the singer looking absolutely dapper in a black T-shirt and camouflage pants.

On WeVerse, the ‘Stigma’ singer uploaded a bare back photo where the wounds he sustained during his military stint are visible. He captioned the photo “wound of glory..”

While the ARMY (BTS fans) were worried about the idol, they were also proud of his accomplishments. “Oh, it's a wound? SK needs to know that the body is important…” wrote one X user. “he looks like a giant buff teddy bear. I wanna hug him so bad..” wrote another. "Taehyung looks so buff, my God, his veiny hands, the muscles, the broad shoulder. Hello!?" read a comment.

BTS is currently on a hiatus. All the members - Jin, RM aks Namjoon, JHope, Yoongi, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook are serving in the South Korean army.
