According to the Shining Awards, the winner in this category will receive a donation certificate. The funds gathered from the voting will be donated to 'Gaza Relief and Recovery' on behalf of the rapper from the organization.
The amount allocated for Suga’s award totals $103.60. The website further states,
"Even though the amount of donation is not much, we hope that it will be useful to all people who receive it. Please keep supporting us by voting for your choices as many as you can, so we’re able to continue to give appreciation like this for the winners and be able to continue to donate and help many people."

Suga, who has been fulfilling his mandatory military service since September 2023, is a prominent figure in the K-pop industry when it comes to rapping. Before his enlistment, he released his solo album D-DAY, which has since set numerous records.
Notably, on July 26, 2024, D-DAY achieved a milestone by becoming the first Korean solo album to rank 4th on the US Best-Selling Rap Albums chart in a decade.
