On April 28 local time, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) released their latest Singles and Albums Charts.
For the week of April 28 to May 4, Suga’s latest title track “Haegeum” made an impressive debut at No. 77 on the Official Singles Chart.
The song also debuted at No. 5 on the Official Singles Download Chart, No. 8 on the Official Singles Sales Chart, and No. 10 on the Official Video Streaming Chart.
On the Official Albums Chart, Suga’s “D-DAY” debuted at No. 41. “D-DAY” is now Suga’s second time entering this chart as a soloist and marks the second-highest debut by a Korean soloist after his second mixtape “D-2” debuted at No. 7 back in May 2020. This achievement also makes Suga the first Korean soloist to debut multiple releases on the UK Official Albums Chart.
“D-DAY” entered several other charts, including the Official Albums Downloads Chart and the Official Hip Hop and R&B Albums Chart at No. 2, the Official Albums Sales Chart at No. 23, and the Official Albums Streaming Chart at No. 77.
Congratulations to BTS’ Suga on his remarkable achievements!
