BTS singer RM is back on the Billboard charts in America this week. The singer and rapper returns with his new solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, which becomes an instant champion on at least one tally.

Right Place, Wrong Person launches at No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart. The Billboard tally lists the most-consumed rap-only full-lengths and EPs in the U.S.

RM earns his first No. 1 on this specific tally this week. He manages to conquer the roster on his first trip to the tally. While the BTS member has released solo material before, and even placed on other lists, he’s never reached the Top Rap Albums chart—until now.

Right Place, Wrong Person takes over the top spot on the Top Rap Albums chart from hip-hop staple Gunna. His latest release One of Wun drops from No. 1 to No. 3. In between these two projects comes We Don’t Trust You, the first collaborative set from Metro Boomin and Future.

RM’s latest project on his own was not just a hit in the rap world in its first week. The set opens at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, which includes all genres. The title moved 54,000 equivalent units in its first seven days of availability in this country.

Right Place, Wrong Person also manages to open in second place on the Top Album Sales chart. That tally looks only at pure purchases, unlike the Billboard 200, which uses a methodology that also includes streaming activity. The set actually sold 43,000 copies when it arrived.

RM earns the loftiest debut on the Top Rap Albums chart this week, but he’s not alone. This time around, he manages to beat a number of well-known stars in the rap and hip-hop world, where he’s a relative newcomer…or at least it might seem that way, according to some rap aficionados. Three other projects debut on the list, including albums from Sexyy Red, Vince Staples, and Pitbull.
