RM Dominates iTunes With His New Solo Album

BTS leader RM released his latest solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on Friday (May 24). The superstar’s new project was always going to perform well–at least when it first arrived–and it’s clear that he has plenty of fans in America by looking at the iTunes chart.

All 11 songs featured on Right Place, Wrong Person appear on iTunes’ ranking of the bestselling tracks in the U.S. at the moment. Nine of them sit inside the top 20, while another lands just outside that region…and an earlier cut returns as it’s selling well once again.

At the time of writing, RM occupies two spaces inside the top 10 on the U.S. iTunes chart. He’s the only musician to claim more than one rung in the most competitive region, and he may fill more than just a pair of slots soon.

RM’s highest-rising hit on iTunes in the U.S. at the moment is “Lost!” That tune has been selected as the current single from Right Place, Wrong Person, and thus it’s receiving the most attention at the moment. At present, “Lost!” sits at No. 4.

“Lost!” is the second-loftiest debut on the iTunes ranking this morning. RM’s single comes in behind only Zach Bryan’s latest, “Pink Skies.” That just-dropped cut opens at No. 3. Holdovers from Shaboozey and Post Malone and Morgan Wallen continue to occupy the highest two spots.

Down at No. 10 comes another RM tune. “Nuts” is new in tenth place, giving the singer his dual top 10 hits at this moment.

Seven more tracks from Right Place, Wrong Person sit between Nos. 11 and 20. One more, “ㅠㅠ,” narrowly misses out on becoming a top 20 iTunes seller, at least for the time being, as it starts at No. 21.

The first song released from RM’s album, a track titled “Come Back to Me,” bolts up the iTunes chart, as it’s selling well once more. The track is already present on the Billboard charts, as it was shared ahead of the full-length. Today, the third-bestselling cut in the nation appears at No. 57 on iTunes. That’s much lower than every other tune, but they’re all new, and many fans already bought “Come Back to Me” in the prior tracking period.
