Kim Taehyung, aka V from BTS, hits a streaming milestone on Spotify.
"Love Me Again," a B-side track from Taehyung's debut EP, "Layover," has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify. It becomes Taehyung's first song and the fastest B-side by a K-pop act to reach this milestone.
In his interview with Rolling Stone, Taehyung described "Love Me Again" as a song "about reminiscing and wanting to return to the past."
In line with the nostalgic theme of "Love Me Again," Taehyung opted for a retro-style music video with a vintage aesthetic. He wore gold and red sequined outfits as he sang about still loving someone even after the relationship had ended.
"Love Me Again" has received much praise for showcasing Taehyung's rich baritone, and was selected as the "Most Swoon-Worthy Single" in their "2023 K-Pop Yearbook" by CONSEQUENCE, a New York-based magazine that covers news and reviews on pop culture media.
Congratulations, Taehyung!
