Jungkook thanks ARMY for wishing him a happy birthday, provides quick update on military life

Jungkook, who is currently serving in the military, expressed his gratitude to ARMY in celebration of his 27th birthday.

On September 1 KST, the BTS member greeted fans through Weverse, saying,

"Thank you, ARMY, for the birthday wishes. I'm doing well."


He continued,

"I will make sure to complete the remainder of my military service well. I hope ARMYs are also doing well during this time!"




On the same day, Jungkook received birthday wishes from J-Hope, who took to Instagram to share an Instagram Story saying, "Happy birthday to my younger brother. Let's complete our service healthily."



RM also gave Jungkook some birthday love by posting a photo of Jungkook's 'Golden' album cover along with a cake and heart emoji.



Meanwhile, Jungkook enlisted with his fellow group member Jimin at the 5th Infantry Division's recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on December 12, 2023. After completing five weeks of basic military training, he continues to serve as an active-duty soldier in the 5th Infantry Division. Jungkook's discharge date is scheduled for June 11, 2025.
