BTS' Jungkook is set to release a new docuseries, I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL, on Disney+ on December 3, 2024. The series follows the success of his solo documentary I AM STILL, offering fans a deeper look into his musical journey and the making of his debut solo album GOLDEN.
BIGHIT Music announced the project on November 7, 2024, revealing that the series will explore Jungkook’s creative process, the inspirations behind GOLDEN, and his reflections on BTS' impact on his solo work. A teaser has already been released, giving fans a preview of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, live performances, and interviews with the artist.
Following the success of I AM STILL, which grossed $8.18 million worldwide, expectations are high for the docuseries. I AM STILL was released in 114 countries and documented Jungkook's 150-day journey in creating GOLDEN, including performances in Seoul and Times Square.
Jungkook’s album GOLDEN, released in 2023, featured hits like SEVEN ft. Latto, 3D ft. Jack Harlow, and a remix with Usher. Currently serving in the South Korean military, he is expected to complete his service in 2025, when BTS will reunite for a full-group comeback.
With I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL, Jungkook continues to share his musical evolution with fans around the world.
