BTS member Jungkook has added another shining record on Spotify with his solo album 'GOLDEN'.
According to the latest chart (July 19-25) released by Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, Jungkook's first solo album 'GOLDEN' ranked 23rd on the 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart.
'GOLDEN' climbed six spots from the previous week to reach 23rd place.
With 'GOLDEN,' Jungkook set a record as the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist on this chart, staying on for 38 consecutive weeks.
Besides the Spotify album chart, Jungkook's solo tracks 'Seven' and 'Standing Next to You' ranked 48th and 92nd respectively on the Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (July 19-25), with two tracks making it onto the chart.
BTS's Jungkook 'GOLDEN' has entered the Spotify Global Album Chart for 38 consecutive weeks, setting a record as the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist.
Additionally, 'Seven' and 'Standing Next to You' have been on the chart for 54 and 37 weeks respectively.
Previously, 'GOLDEN' recorded the highest weekly debut streaming (195.3 million filtered streams) among albums by Asian solo artists on the Spotify 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart.
Jungkook also set a new record as the 'first' K-pop solo artist to have multiple songs (Left and Right, Seven) chart for 300 days on the Spotify 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart.
'GOLDEN' became the first album by an Asian solo artist and the fastest studio album by an Asian artist to surpass 4 billion streams (unfiltered) on Spotify. Additionally, it set a new record as the fastest Asian studio album to have seven tracks surpass 100 million streams each in Spotify's history.
