Jin recently became the first member of BTS to finish his term of service in the South Korean military. The singer has finally completed his mandatory enlistment, which all men in the country must take part in by a certain age. To celebrate his release, fans of the musician and the band he’s a part of have returned to one of his solo cuts, making it a hit once again in America.

“Super Tuna” by Jin is back on one Billboard chart this week. The tune reappears at No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales list.

This week, “Super Tuna” returns to the top spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart, seemingly with ease. It soars thanks to a healthy sales sum, as its total number of purchases is up significantly when compared to the frame prior to his release from the military.

In the past tracking period, “Super Tuna” sold a little more than 1,400 copies in America, according to Luminate. The week before, the same title managed single-digit sales, as it wasn’t new, and it wasn’t being promoted for any reason.

The uptick in sales that “Super Tuna” enjoyed is astounding. From one week to the next, the single’s purchase count grew by nearly 17,500%. That shows there is renewed interest in the title, and also that his fans are happy to have him back and want to show him their love.

“Super Tuna” is one of Jin’s three No. 1 hits on the World Digital Song Sales chart. He’s also reached the summit with both “Yours” and “The Astronaut,” with “Super Tuna” being released in between those tracks. He’s also scored three additional top 10 wins on the tally.

Jin is the only member of BTS who has not yet released a solo album. There has been no word yet on a collection coming from the singer, but now that he has some time on his hands and he’s no longer busy with serving his country, he may be working on new material.
