Jin from BTS has officially released his first solo EP, Happy, bringing a dose of positivity and encouragement to fans worldwide. This debut album captures Jin's journey through happiness, delivering a message of resilience and comfort for listeners to carry into their daily lives.
The EP features six tracks, including the lead single "Running Wild" and the pre-release "I’ll Be There." Other songs, such as "Another Level," "Falling," "Heart on the Window (with WENDY)," and "I Will Come to You," highlight Jin’s versatility as an artist and his involvement in the album's production. Notably, he wrote the fan-dedicated song "I Will Come to You" as a tribute to ARMY.
The album includes contributions from international collaborators: Gary Barlow of Take That co-produced "Running Wild," MAX lent his talents to "I’ll Be There," and Taka and Toru from ONE OK ROCK worked on "Falling." Jin’s first duet, "Heart on the Window," showcases his tender, intricate vocal style alongside WENDY.
The main track, "Running Wild," combines a British new wave sound with Jin’s layered vocals, offering a hopeful message of perseverance. The music video, released on HYBE LABELS' YouTube channel, follows Jin through daily life, underscoring that happiness is found in simple moments, especially with loved ones nearby.
Jin will perform "Running Wild" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 20, further sharing his solo work with a global audience.
