Since BTS‘s Jin was discharged from his mandatory military service, ARMYs have speculated that he was already receiving offers from brands.
Ahead of his enlistment, Jin was the ambassador for Jin Ramen. Previously, he was the ambassador for many other name brands as a member of BTS, including Louis Vuitton and Samsung Galaxy.
One of the brands ARMYs suspected Jin might be a new ambassador for was the Italian luxury fashion house Gucci. The brand previously sent him gifts, and he has been spotted wearing items from the brand, too.
Now, Gucci has officially announced Jin as the brand’s latest global ambassador in a Women’s Wear Daily exclusive. Reportedly, Jin praised Gucci Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, saying the brand is “iconic” with “a long-standing heritage and modernity. It is meaningful and thrilling to be a part of such a house.”
Creative director Sabato De Sarno said Jin’s “warm and kind personality is truly magnetic, and his style is simply unique. He is a generous and extraordinary artist who is able to move people with his music, which makes us even more honored to share this journey with him.”
