On June 30, Jin interacted with a bunch of lucky fans via Weverse. Responding to a fan's query about his daily life nowadays, the BTS member shared, "I've been recording, filming variety shows and I'm slowly making progress on plans I made in the military," before adding, "Showing my face as much as I can, but also doing my main job. The final products will all be released a few months later, so please wait just a little bit more."

Jin also shared that the new version of his hit track Super Tuna would be dropped post the release of Jimin's album. "Jimin's album is going to be released, so I decided it would be good manners to postpone it (Super Tuna) for now," the Awake singer wrote.

The BTS star also responded to questions regarding his acting debut, which fans have been eagerly waiting for. "Waiting for actor Jin," a fan wrote, to which the singer responded, "I don't have any plans to act, sorry."

Prior to his enlistment, Jin had made his solo debut with The Astronaut. The single, which was released in October 2022, centered around Jin's love and connection with his fans. As per reports, the BTS star will be releasing his debut solo album in the fourth quarter of this year i.e. between October to December 2024.

Enlisting for his mandatory military service on December 13 in 2022, Jin was the first BTS member to join the South Korean army. After completing his five week long military training, the Awake singer was appointed as an assistant drill instructor at the 5th Infantry Division. On June 12 this year, Jin was discharged.
