Jimin and Jungkook are the final two BTS members to enlist in the military!
Earlier on December 11, BTS’s RM and V quietly enlisted at the Korean Army Training Center in Nonsan with support and a send-off from all the members. The following day on December 12, Jimin and Jungkook were admitted to The 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon county with a send-off from Suga and J-Hope.
Ahead of their enlistment, Jungkook and Jimin also held Weverse Live broadcasts to bid farewell for the time being to ARMY (BTS’s official fan club). Jimin shared, “I feel very reassured to be able to enlist together with Jungkook,” and Jungkook remarked, “Stay healthy. I will miss ARMY.” Jimin also wrote on Weverse, “I’ll return safely.”
J-Hope further took to Instagram to share photos of the members and wrote, “Time will pass!!”
Previously, Jin was the first member to enlist in December 2022, followed by J-Hope and Suga. It is expected that all the BTS members will be discharged and reunite by June 2025.
Wishing Jimin and Jungkook a safe and healthy service!
