By IndoApril 19, 2023

J-Hope’s Entrance Ceremony with BTS

J-Hope enlisted in the military on April 18 to complete his 18-month mandatory service. After their eldest Hyung Jin who enlisted in December 2022, he is the second BTS member to go. The other six boys including Seokjin came to send him off.

The Arson rapper did his promised last Weverse Live for the ARMY ahead of his enlistment and asked fans not to worry too much. He said that this is like a new experience and that he will go and come back soon.

As J-Hope went, all the other members came by to be with him. Even Jin, who is currently enlisted and has been serving for the past four months. He took a leave to see his younger member off.

All the members were there for J-Hope. A Bangtan Bomb video of the same was shared today, April 19 on their official page. In the short video, we see the boys hugging and talking to Hobi. All six of them – Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook take their turns clicking photos with him. They even touched his head while saying that the buzz cut suited him.

RM came along to hug J-Hope, and the two were left speechless. The BTS leader became very emotional while seeing off his fellow 94-liner buddy. Toward the end, we see him trying to hold back his tears. Namjoon started rubbing his eyes to calm himself.

ARMYs must have tried to gather courage for the military enlistment video but nothing could have prepared them for it. Meanwhile, as per the law and rule, Jin was not shown in the video.
