Jin Donates 100 Million Won to Support Medical Aid for Incurable Diseases

Jin, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, has donated 100 million won ($69,594) to Korea University Medicine to support patients suffering from incurable diseases in developing countries. His generous contribution will aid the “Global Love Life Project,” an international medical aid initiative led by Korea University Medicine.

As a global star, Jin has consistently demonstrated his commitment to social responsibility through various philanthropic efforts. In addition to his latest donation, he has previously supported causes such as child welfare and environmental protection, reflecting his dedication to creating a positive impact worldwide.

The Global Love Life Project aims to provide medical treatment and support to patients in underprivileged regions who face economic hardships and lack access to adequate healthcare. Last year, Korea University Medicine successfully brought over 10 patients from countries such as Madagascar to Korea, where they received life-saving treatment at its Anam, Guro, and Ansan hospitals. This initiative exemplifies the institution’s dedication to international humanitarian efforts.

"I hope this donation can bring even a small ray of hope to those suffering without access to medical treatment,” Jin expressed. “I wish to continue helping save more lives alongside my global fans."
