BIGHIT MUSIC has released a statement firmly denying recent rumors regarding BTS.

On October 26, BIGHIT MUSIC briefly commented, “BTS is completely unconnected to the relevant rumor, and is not true in the slightest.” They added, “We will take strong action against the indiscriminate circulation of rumors.”

The previous day, it was revealed that BIGBANG’s G-Dragon was booked on drug charges following actor Lee Sun Gyun. Along with G-Dragon, more celebrities were also reported to be booked on drug charges, and rumors began to circulate regarding BTS on online communities. Agencies of LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon, (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon, and singer-songwriter Park Sun Joo also stepped up to firmly deny rumors of any involvement with drugs.
