74% of Gallup Korea poll participants vote for BTS as the most-loved boy group of the 21st century

BTS proved their unwavering status as the "national boy group" of South Korea, earning the title of #1 most-loved boy group of the 21st century with a landslide 74% of votes.

A Gallup Korea survey was conducted between August 19~23 to determine the most-loved musicians and songs of the 21st century. The survey was administered to 1,052 participants, ranging between the ages of 19~69. The participants were asked to choose "the most-loved boy group of the 21st century" and were given 20 multiple-choice answers, from which they could choose two responses.

According to the survey results, BTS is considered the most-loved boy group of the 21st century in the minds of South Koreans. Of the 74% who voted for BTS, the distribution of male and female voters was equal at 74%. Similarly, BTS received a high percentage of votes from a range of age groups: ages 19~29 (67%), thirties (66%), forties (76%), fifties (83%), and sixties (74%).

After BTS, Big Bang came in second place with 33% of the votes, earning a high percentage of votes among participants in the 19~29 age group (49%) and those in their thirties (37%).

Additionally, Super Junior ranked in 3rd place with 15% of the votes, TVXQ ranked in 4th place with 14%, EXO ranked in 5th place with 13%, Seventeen ranked in 6th place with 8%, SHINee ranked in 7th place with 7%, 2PM ranked in 8th place with 5%, and NCT and Wanna One tied in 9th place with 4% of the votes.
